Summary

There are differences between fathering a child and being a Father.  If you take care of your children why wouldn’t God take care of his children - you?  We pray for things we don’t need.  God does answer - ‘yes, no or wait’.  Stop long enough to ask God for what you want.  After we screw up our lives we cry out to the Holy Spirit. What the father does, you should do in a like manner.  If things are not right in a relationship, stop and see if you are being disobedient.  Kids use language they hear at home, they are being like you.  If God says ‘no’, you have to trust.  Sometimes you have to get a no to get a yes.  What if God pulled Jesus out before the cross?  There is no good thing that God would withhold.  Thank you Daddy - don’t underestimate the power of those words.
