Lord's Supper
LORD'S SUPPER
Matthew 26:26-30 | Mark 14:22-26 | Luke 22:19-20 | 1 Corinthians 11:23-29
The Lord's Supper (also called Communion) is a time set aside for us to remember Christ's death. He asked us to remember that His body would be broken and His blood shed for us. With the bread, we remember His body; with the juice, His blood. By observing this, we express our faith in what Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary.
Our Lord's Supper services are a special time of fellowship and remembrance. We accomplish this through a sit-down, potluck meal and worship service where we sing songs, read Scripture, and speak of our Lord's death.
