Marriage Matters
Through this growing ministry, we seek to encourage the development of couple relationships with a view towards a healthy marriage. We do this through encouraging relationships of new or struggling married couples with "mentor" couples. We are very careful in our selection of mentor couples, each going through an assessment process before approval & assumption of this role.
In addition, we do offer some marriage counseling. The focus of this counseling is spiritual & relational in nature; based in Scripture. By doing these, we are helping to fulfill our church's mission of making disciples.
Marriage is God's institution (Gen 2:20). We firmly believe that Christ should be at the center of every Christian marriage, which lends itself to the understanding of God's intentions for marriage.
