Music at Reunion

Colossians 3:16-17 | Psalm 150 | Revelation 4

A vital part of the community of God's people, music provides a means by which to express our worship of King Jesus. We seek to be balanced in our approach to music; drawing from the freedom of Old Testament models of music and the instruction on worship from the New Testament.

Music at Reunion...

  • Is limited to lyrics based on truth about God, His Word, and His active presence in the community of faith.
  • Is characterized by identification with the cultural, racial, and socio-economic diversity that is visible in the body of believers who attend our worship services.
  • Is representative of past and present genres of music.
  • Offers a balance of contemporary and traditional elements of church music that are appealing to popular and cultural styles of music as well.
  • Includes development of original songs and pieces that cross all lines: some performance based, some congregational

Our music ministry is filled with disciples. These are not just singers, musicians, and artists; but people who live committed lives before the Lord and who are actively connecting with the congregation. Together, our desire in music ministry is to see God glorified as we lift excellent offerings of praise before an audience of one, our Creator, God Himself.
